About Cat Halsan

(she/her)

Hello! I’m Cat, a thirty-something Queer Celebrant with roots in Surrey, now dividing my time between London and the West Midlands.

I've been curating events and bringing people together for unforgettable moments since I was 10 - starting with a sell-out Spice Girls concert in my back garden (yes, I sold tickets to my neighbours, and charged them for squash).

The truth is, I was never destined for a standard 9 - 5. I'm far too fab and spicy for office life. Before becoming a celebrant, I spent 15 years in equity, diversity and inclusion - working everywhere from grassroots ballrooms to global corporate boardrooms, I thrive in dynamic, people-powered environments where creativity takes centre stage. I bring that wealth of culture, knowledge and respect into every ceremony I perform.

This experience has given me a deep understanding of the beauty and complexity of relationships, family dynamics, and the importance of community - especially when it comes to celebrating and supporting LGBTQ+ love and connection.

More about me

Over the years, I’ve built an incredible network of talented, passionate professionals across all kinds of sectors. It was those very people who nudged (ok, lovingly shoved) me toward starting my own company - so that my work could fully reflect who I am, what I care about, and how I show up in the world.

I’m super professional, super personable, and I know exactly how to hold a room while keeping things warm, joyful, and with the kind of energy that makes everyone feel seen.

I’ve had the joy of planning and hosting many events, and now I’d love to be part of yours. If you’re looking for someone to make your occasion memorable and full of absolute joy, let’s work together to bring your vision to life - you won’t be disappointed!
